Even though Minnesota is still fighting us with cold and snowy weather, we are actively gearing up our office operations to begin preparing for the 2026 irrigation season. Ignoring the blizzard that we all endured this weekend, spring is (almost) here!     As a quick reminder of our history, WIS was started in 1989 by Mike Lamb. Danny started working with Mike in 1993 and became his business partner in 1999. Nine years ago, Mike retired, and Danny took the helm. Mike’s words of advice were, “Keep the ship off the rocks…”. In those nine years, we have been fortunate to fill the ship with a crew of phenomenal individuals.
