Smart Controllers and Sensors are the future of irrigation water management. WiFi and Cellular based controllers give us remote programming capabilities and access to real time weather data. Coupled with smart sensors these controllers have been proven to reduce water usage by as much as 50%. By reducing the cost of operations we can use these savings to maintain these systems properly with the goal to reduce overall expenses related to watering.
West Irrigation utilizes many different products to not only reduce watering but to help the service provider better trouble shoot the system. This directly affects the expense of maintaining the system. We have built and upgraded many commercial and residential properties that can shut themselves down in the case of leaks. These systems also help the service tech find the leaks quicker by identifying the zone that has the issue.
The use of flow sensors can also protect pumps in the case of loss of prime or failure of valves to open.
