Installation and Re-Build Service
It is our belief that water management is the ultimate goal in every design. How do we bring life to everyone’s outdoor awesome and utilize a precious resource efficiently at the same time? We accomplish this with correct design, using the proper material for the application, implementing the newest technology to run the system and a service and build philosophy that maintains our systems abilities to operate in like new condition.
West Irrigation Services designs and builds every system with multiple things in mind. What is our water supply? How do we utilize the water supply to design and build the best system for the needs of the property? These two questions should guide us and the customer throughout the rest of the design and build process.
There are many things that will affect design. Budget is always at the forefront of concern but also an important thing to have a big picture mentality on. All too often irrigation systems are built out incorrectly to accommodate budget leading to long term costs that are not clearly explained to many buyers. Like buying a new car, irrigation systems have many options and upgrades available. The goal of every build should be to control operating and service expense in the long term. This may require using a smart controller or upgraded sensors to ensure proper watering. The brain of the system can only help us if the system is properly zoned for the needs of the property. What does this mean? Are we watering the grass and the plants together or separately? Are we using sprinklers where drip irrigation would be more ideal? Have the flower pots been properly configured into the system. Although building systems to accommodate separate areas properly can add to build expense it can lower the water usage directly affecting the long term operating cost, saving money in the long term. It is also better for different areas and types of plants if they can be watered separately. If the controller is capable of using sensors and has access to real time weather data we can avoid over watering, saving water and money.
